Perry was the first basketball player that I can remember that shot a perfect jump shot. It was a new art form in this sport. He and his Billygoat team mates were our heros. My dad, Jim sr. , would take me and my brother to all the home games and we would sit on the stage with our buddies and watch the billgoat stomp the Bears, Yellow jackets, Mustangs, Pirates etc. It was like setting in a front row seat at a Lakers game. Wow what a show! This is where I learned to love the game of basketball. Perry, I went on to teach and coach for twenty five years and now live in Spokane and I am still coaching in the Catholic school league. I have a little fifth grade girl playing on my 7th grad team. You might recognize the name. Stockton. She is just as aggresive as her father. Our offense is built around her ability to steal the ball. We usually start the first quarter with a 12 to 16 point lead. Laura will most likely have 10 to 14 of those points. Keep your eye on this little one. Love to you all, Jim
